Ramgarh Vishdhari is one of Rajasthan’s most recently notified tiger reserves, located in Bundi district between Ranthambore and Mukundra. Its undulating terrain of dry deciduous forest, ravines and seasonal streams forms a vital wildlife corridor that helps tigers disperse across the wider Hadoti landscape.
The reserve protects leopards, sloth bears, wolves, hyenas, chinkara and a returning population of tigers, and it takes its name from the historic Ramgarh area and the Vishdhari region nearby. Still developing as a safari destination, it appeals to travellers seeking a peaceful, off-the-beaten-track forest, generally open from October to June.
